Fireworks will thunder and boom over Lakeport’s Library Park this Fourth of July.  The annual Independence Day display that was snuffed-out last year due to the pandemic returns this year with a bang.

While alcohol is prohibited in the parklands this year, the footprint has broadened to include the new Lakefront Park area located at 810 N. Main Street, giving more upfront seating than ever. An expanded discharge area for your safe and sane fireworks will also be featured on Fourth Street at Library Park.

Please leave your alcohol at home and bring your friends and your chair to enjoy the celebration.  More details about the public fireworks display and sales of safe and sane fireworks will be released in the coming weeks.

For event information and alerts, please text FIREWORKS to 888777.

Firework Show will start at approx. time of 9:30pm and will be a Fantastic Show because of Gustafson Enterprise & Main Street Bar & Grill donating $10,000. extra besides the $19,000. that the Lakeshore Lions put in from the donations of our community and businesses in Lake County to have this show. So the show is costing $29,000 and should be a spectacular show for our community.

We are so excited that this is happening and we are going back to normal life. Food Vendors are up to 17  and regular vendors are up to 39 and Lakeshore Lions will be selling beer & wine, and the Lakeshore Lioness will be selling Alcohol Snow Cones at their booths on the street. But this could change to more vendors and more food vendors.

If you feel you need to wear a mask this is up to you, we are not telling people they have to wear masks.

Lakeshore Lions have worked hard to make this a successful event and without the help of everyone we wouldn’t of been able to do this.
